This is a fabulous hat, so subtle in some ways but oozing Hollywood glamour. It has the hallmarks of a classic hat that can be worn and loved for years.
The base is a beret made from a gorgeous silk velvet that I lined in silk, then I trimmed it with a sophisticated Parisisal swirl edged with a textured crinoline and finished with a navy veil.
 
It is attached with an elastic, as after years of hat wearing (hard nosed research ;) I have found this the most comfortable way to wear a hat.
