This is a fab version of a classic summer hat. The tinalak is a little more flexible and less brittle than a classic straw so it will be easier to look after. The brim had almost veil like quality. 
 
As with many of my hats I have lined it in a beautiful print, this one is a linen / silk blend with a wonderful Chinese style print.
 
If worn pulled down the hat fits a small head size of 21 1/2" but it can also be very comfortable sitting higher on the head.
 
It would arrive with you in one of my vintage style hexagonal hat boxes.
 
There are variations of this design but nothing the same will be made,
