This is a fabulous formal beret. It is made from woven paper on a firm base of buckram. The swirl is made from black parisisal with a white crinoline trim. I added two feather spines, in clashing tones of pink and orange. 
I have lined it in matching material of pink and orange, normally I would line a hat with silk but this cotton was so glorious I had use it!
To wear this hat just pop the elastic under at the back of your head, after years of hat wearing I am convinced that this is the most comfortable way to wear a hat!
