This hat is divinely bonkers! The base is conventional, made from royal blue sinamay and everything else is most extraordinary. The flower is made from a plastic film, with additional metallic paint, tentacles are made from aluminium mesh and the centre is a vintage outsized pearl bead.
It is attached to the head with an elastic that is worn under the hair at the back of the head.
