What a fabulous colour! This hat is made from a few meters of beautiful hand loomed silk covered seamlessly over a blocked buckram base.I have lined it with a repurposed silk chiffon scarf, which is kind to your hair and planet too!
I tinted the silk to make it just marginally darker before making some lilies, with curled biot feather stemen.
