I wanted to make for you a navy hat that was small enough to be easy to wear but with detail to make it really special.
I have layered and coaxed sinamay into folds and swirls: navy with cream windowpane or cream with navy windowpane. I have accentuated the final swirling folds with some carefully shaped  and cut feathers. 
It is lined with a complimentary Liberty print on tana lawn cotton and attached to the head with millinery elastic that is worn around the back of the head under the hair line.
